Empower Employees to Save Lives
Every day, the U.S. relies on roughly 65,000 units of blood to keep patients alive. That’s because every 2 seconds, someone is in an accident or receives a diagnosis that renders them in need of blood. Hospitals rely on blood donations from real-life superheroes to keep supplies up in order to save lives and support those in need.
Encourage employees to make a donation that literally saves lives this January, as we shine a spotlight on National Blood Donor Month. It’s important that we all do our part to spread the word about just how easy it is to save lives and encourage others to volunteer to make a difference in their communities.
This month’s video covers relevant statistics about donating blood, why it’s important to donate, requirements for donating, and how to prepare to give a blood donation.
